Unrivalled brilliance

If there’s a holy grail in racing, it is surely the elite colt.

Stunning physique, superb pedigree and, most importantly, Group 1 success – these are the ingredients of what can be an outstanding investment and a life-changing experience.

And Arrowfield delivers it more often than most.

In the past decade, 15 colts purchased from Arrowfield yearling drafts have won Group 1 races. A single buyer would have spent just over $10.3 million to own them all, and so far would have earned more than $18 million in prizemoney, before any stud deals.

Those colts now at stud are making quite an impact on racing and breeding. Six have already sired Group 1 winners: Easter purchases Alabama Express, Rafeef (in South Africa), Super Seth & The Autumn Sun, plus Castelvecchio & Invader.

ALABAMA EXPRESS - Group 1 winner & Group 1 sire

And one, The Autumn Sun, has already left an Easter sale-topper, Silverdale Farm’s $1.8 million filly out of Via Africa – now better known as the sensational dual Group winner Autumn Glow.

The first yearlings by triple Classic-winning hero Hitotsu, Spring Champion winner Profondo and Hong Kong sprinter Stronger will be offered in 2026.

Legend Racing’s brilliant Randwick Guineas & Doncaster Mile winner Celestial Legend has several Group 1 targets on his Autumn agenda.

Australia’s current top-rated 3YO Switzerland and Caulfield Guineas winner Private Life remain in training for Coolmore & partners with their stud careers already assured.

No other Easter vendor since 2014 can match Arrowfield’s record of selling 8 Group 1-winning colts that have become stallions or stallion prospects. The Arrowfield consignment at Inglis Easter 2025 includes 28 colts by Dundeel, Frankel, I Am Invincible, Maurice, Snitzel, St Mark’s Basilica, The Autumn Sun & Too Darn Hot.
