He’s by Champion Sire and rapidly emerging sire of sires Snitzel; he’s a full-brother to outstanding Group 1-winning filly Sweet Idea; and he’s the grandson of dual Group 1 winner Electronic.
And Showtime is already among Snitzel’s 12 stakes-siring sons. His first stakes performers, Show Royale & Tacito, emerged from his first 6 Australian runners, and in 2023/24 he has posted 12 winners and a $350,000 Ready Race 2YO colt.

The 38 yearlings sold from Showtime’s first two crops at Magic Millions Gold Coast & Adelaide, and Inglis Classic & Melbourne averaged $63,000, or 6.3 x his opening fee.
13 lots sold for $80,000 or more, with a top price of $230,000 paid by Malua Bloodstock for the first-crop filly out of Line Honours.
Showtime has also posted excellent 2YO prices of $230,000 for the colt out of Hediard in 2022, and $350,000 for the colt out of Damselle in 2023.
