After five wins and five Group placings, two at Group 1 level, Dundeel’s splendid daughter She’s Ideel broke through for a well-deserved Group victory in Saturday’s $160,000 ATC Kingston Town S. 2000m G3.

In becoming Dundeel’s 15th stakeswinner, she defeated dual Group 1 winner Montefilia and Group winner Entente, also by Dundeel.

As She’s Ideel’s trainer Bjorn Baker said, “It was a pretty easy watch throughout.”

Bred by Brian Nutt’s Attunga Stud in partnership with the Estate of Mr G. Coull, She’s Ideel is raced by the Stud with a large group of family & friends who now look forward to her next start, in The Metropolitan G1 on 2 October, with the $7.75 million Melbourne Cup G1 her major Spring target.

She’s Ideel is the best of five winners out of city-winning 2YO Ana’s Mail (by Anabaa), from the family of Group 1 winner Danestorm and Group winners Shanzero, Blizzard & Furore.

Already the sire of five Group 1 winners from his first two crops, Dundeel has plenty of emerging talent behind his latest stakeswinners She’s Ideel & Purrfect Deal, including impressive recent 3YO winners Thousand Years & Teewaters and 4YOs Darwin’s Theory & Miss Guggenheim.
