Dundeel’s 17th SW rolls to Flemington victory
Dundeel’s 2YO son Let’srollthedice stepped up from a debut win at Bendigo to lead home an Arrowfield-sired first four in Saturday’s $300,000 VRC Sires’ Produce S. 1400m G2.
Man In The Mirror (by Not A Single Doubt), Yaki Ishi (by Maurice) & Brosnan (by Snitzel) all finished within 1.5 lengths of him, offering encouragement to continue their juvenile campaigns.
“Let’srollthedice is stomping up as well.”

Let’srollthedice’s trainer Danny O’Brien is now considering Sydney Group 1 options for the colt who has already shown his ability to handle a range of track conditions.
“He’s now a Group 2-winning colt but he did handle the Heavy 10 the other day, so it would be tempting enough to look at the Sires’ or the Champagne there in Sydney.”
Bred by Segenhoe Thoroughbreds, Let’srollthedice was consigned by Stonehouse Thoroughbreds at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale where he was purchased for $240,000 by agent John Foote.
He is the third foal of the More Than Ready mare Hannah In A Hurry, a half-sister to Group 3 and multiple Listed winner Golden Archer, out of the quality racemare Viennetta, a Group 2 winner & Group 1-placed in New Zealand.
This family has produced plenty of stakeswinners over the past two decades, including Australian Classic winners Headturner (Australian Derby G1) and Anacheeva (Caulfield Guineas G1).
Hannah In A Hurry is in foal again to Dundeel.
Let’srollthedice is Dundeel’s 5th stakeswinner this season, 17th stakeswinner overall and the fourth 2YO stakeswiner of his career, after Group 1 winner Castelvecchio, NZ Champion 2YO Yourdeel and Group 3 winner Irukandji.
Dundeel has 33 yearlings for Inglis Easter 2022 including 8 colts & 6 fillies in Arrowfield’s draft.
