Animal Kingdom on show in England

Arrowfield’s Dubai World Cup winner Animal Kingdom paraded in fine fettle last week at the annual Stallion Parade held by his co-owner Darley in Newmarket, England.

A total of 1500 invited guests inspected the Stud’s roster including the handsome son of Leroidesanimaux who entered quarantine on Friday evening in preparation for his journey to Australia where he will begin his stud career at Arrowfield Stud this spring at a fee of $38,500 inc. GST. He will then shuttle to the United States for his first northern hemisphere season in 2014 at Darley’s Jonabell Farm, Kentucky.

Animal Kingdom’s 12-start career featured outstanding victories in the 2013 Dubai World Cup G1 and 2011 Kentucky Derby G1, and a brilliant runner-up finish in Wise Dan’s record-breaking 2012 Breeders’ Cup Mile G1. All three races are among the world’s top-rated Group 1 events.

His first Australian appearance will be at Arrowfield’s Stallion Open House, each day from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 August – click here for more information.
