Arrowfield’s 66 yearlings for the 2020 Magic Millions Sale are now in the final stages of their preparation, as the dedicated team that has worked so closely with them over the past 10 weeks gets ready to travel with them to the Gold Coast. 

These 34 colts and 32 fillies represent the full depth of Arrowfield’s formidable stallion & broodmare power and the collective skills & passion of the Stud’s people, exercised across three years, from the 2017 stallion roster announcement & subsequent breeding season through to the sale days, 8-12 January 2020.

The draft comprises:

  • All of Arrowfield’s 17 graduate stakeswinners in 2019, including Group 1 winners The Autumn Sun, Kenedna, Atyaab, Castelvecchio & Super Seth, were offered for sale as yearlings.
  • Arrowfield is the leading vendor at Australia’s major yearling sales since 2013 with 54 graduate stakeswinners.
  • That represents 8.34% of all lots offered by the Stud at Magic Millions, Inglis Classic, Inglis Melbourne & Inglis Easter, 2013-18 – around twice the strike rate achieved across those four sales in the same period.
