Three Award Finalists by Redoute’s Choice

Australia’s reigning Champion sire Redoute’s Choice is represented by three category finalists in the 2010 Australian Racehorse of the Year Awards which

The trio are headed by the marvellous filly Melito (bred by Reavill Farm Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd), last week named NSW Champion Horse of the Year, and now up for national awards in the 3YO Filly and Champion Sprinter categories.

Brilliant Queensland Derby G1 winner Dariana (bred by Fairway Thoroughbreds) is also a finalist for the Champion 3YO Filly award, and the colt Musir (bred by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum) has been recognised in the Champion Australian-Bred International category.

All three horses are from Redoute’s Choice’s splendid 2006 crop, which has so far produced 7 stakeswinners, five of them successful at Group level.

The winners of the seven category awards, the Sky Racing World Australian Racehorse of the Year and the latest inductees to the Hall of Fame will all be announced at a ceremonial dinner on Sunday 5 September at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium.
