The rise and rise of Dundeel

Dundeel’s first two crops bred on higher fees have fuelled his best-ever seasons in Australia:

  • Top 10 Sire in 2023 & 2024
  • 2nd, 3YO Sires’ Premiership, 2024
  • 5th, 2YO Sires’ Premiership, 2023

Last season 43% of his Australian runners were 2YOs & 3YOs and they:

  • earned 64% of his $15.2 million Australian prizemoney in 2023/24
  • supplied 12 of his 15 Australian stakes performers in 2023/24
  • included multiple Group 1-winning colts Celestial Legend & Militarize, and 2YO stakeswinners Epimeles & Femminile.

And there are 405 of Dundeel’s progeny, now 3YO and younger, bred at $66,000 and $82,500 that are yet to race.
That’s nearly 70% of all his runners to date.
