Stroll maintains Snitzel’s sizzling pace
Right on schedule, Snitzel delivered his 12th stakeswinner this season when his 3YO daughter Stroll won a desperately fought battle with the previously unbeaten Chinny Boom for Saturday’s $150,000 BRC Mode S. 1200m LR.
That success maintains Snitzel’s exceptional current strike rate of one stakes win every 10 or 11 days, and as it happens, 8 of his stakeswinners since 1 August were purchased from the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Ending the unbeaten run of ‘boom’ filly Chinny Boom, @odearacing‘s Snitzel filly Stroll recorded her second stakes success, winning the Listed Mode Plate @BrisRacingClub in a photo finish for @ProvenTbreds.@mmsnippets @BaramulStud @bozzathornton @ArrowfieldStud @Sunline129 pic.twitter.com/IaF1G7K4bI

At $450,000 Stroll, also a stakeswinner at two, is the most expensive yearling purchase ever made by syndicator Proven Thoroughbreds, but she is now both more valuable and capable of adding to her $208,000 prizemoney.
Bred and part-owned by Gerry Harvey, Stroll is the first foal of city-placed winner Walk The Streets (by Street Cry) and was bought from the same Baramul Stud draft as three other stars of Snitzel’s 2019 crop: Best Of Bordeaux, Zennzella & Vienna Princess.
Stroll’s female family traces to St. Klaire, from a half-sister to ‘blue hen’ Eight Carat and herself no slouch at stud as the dam of Group 1 winners Fraternity, Telesto & Bonanova.
Trained by Steven O’Dea & Matthew Hoysted, Stroll will now head to the $300,000 Vo Rogue S. G3 at Doomben on New Year’s Eve and naturally, she is also nominated for the $2 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas RL on 14 January.
