Snitzel filly tops Magic Millions Adelaide Sale
Three Arrowfield-sired yearlings appeared among the top-priced lots at Session 1 of the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale, which concluded yesterday.
The top price of $145,000 was paid by Victorian trainer Robbie Laing for Baramul Stud’s Snitzel filly from dual Group winner Eureka Jewel (by Semipalatinsk), already the dam of four winners, including the stakeswinner Sermon.

Leading Queensland bloodstock agent John Foote paid $100,000 for the Not A Single Doubt colt from Group 1 winner Dowry, offered by Glenelg Park.
Celebrated South Australian farm Mill Park has had notable success with yearlings by Starcraft, and that continued with the colt from Group-placed winner Subsequential. A half-brother to Tasmanian Guineas winner Moving Money, he was sold for $85,000 to Adelaide trainer Leon Macdonald.
Macdonald was also the buyer of Mill Park’s $300,000 Starcraft-Tayasu Run colt at the 2010 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale. Named Perfect Punch, he has won three races including the SAJC Hill Smith S. LR.
Two months ago Mill Park was the vendor of the magnificent Starcraft-Victory Cry filly bought for $320,000 by BC3 Thoroughbreds at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.
