Redoute’s Choice story

It was the second impressive performance this week by the champion sire’s first French-conceived juveniles. On Monday, the colt Colibri ran away from his rivals in a seven-furlong maiden at Brighton to win by 12 lengths easing down.

Watch Colibri’s maiden win on 5 September.

Trained by Hugo Palmer for owner-breeder Al Asayl Bloodstock, Colibri is out of High Days (by Hennessy), from the family of Fantastic Light, as well as Australian Group 1 winner Your Song & last season’s Group-winning 2YO Tarquin.
