Pretty and Fast she surely is!

Not A Single Doubt’s 3YO daughter Pretty Fast rewarded her owner Sheikh Khalifa and trainers Peter & Paul Snowden with a sparkling stakes success in Saturday’s $100,000 BRC Mode Plate 1200m LR.

Her 2.8 length victory – with another Not A Single Doubt filly, Winter Bride, as runner-up – completed her rapid, six-week rise from maiden to four-time winner and stakeswinner.

Watch Pretty Fast win the BRC Mode Plate LR.

Pretty Fast will now head to the paddock for a brief break before her next opportunity to boost her record, in the $2 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (R) LR on 13 January.

Pretty Fast is the ninth stakes-winning graduate of Arrowfield’s yearling Class of 2016. She joins Group 1 2YO winners Invader and Mustaaqeem, Group 2 winners Gunnison & Showtime, Group 3 winners Dracarys & Pariah (also Group 1-placed at two) and Ardrossan & Azazel, both successful in juvenile stakes company.

Pretty Fast is the fourth of these to be purchased from the Stud’s 2016 Magic Millions Gold Coast draft, after Invader, Showtime and Dracarys. She has also taken Not A Single Doubt’s tally of stakeswinners to 49, and is his 7th this season.

Bought for $650,000 by Tim Stakemire for Sheikh Khalifa, Pretty Fast is a three-quarter sister to Group winner Villa Verde, and the first foal bred by Arrowfield and GSA Bloodstock from Group-placed winner Miss Sharapova (by Ustinov).

Miss Sharapova has since delivered two colts by Not A Single Doubt, 2YO Newstead (in training with Bjorn Baker) and a foal born this Spring, and a yearling colt by Snitzel, to be offered in Arrowfield’s 2018 Inglis Easter consignment. The mare has maintained her perfect record in the breeding barn and is in foal to Shalaa.

Not A Single Doubt, currently fifth on the Australian General Sires’ premiership, has 35 yearlings on offer at the 2018 Magic Millions Sale, including two colts and a filly in the Arrowfield consignment
