One champion meets another

Champion sire Redoute’s Choice met a champion of another kind yesterday when 2011 Tour de France champion Cadel Evans visited Arrowfield with stud client David Paradice.

Cadel beagn his cycling career as a mountain biker, winning the 1998 & 1999 World Cups in that discpline. He has been a full-time road cyclist since 2000 and finished second in the 2007 & 2008 Tours de France before his memorable victory this year, riding for the BMC Racing Team. He’s also the first Australian to win the UCI Pro Tour (in 2007) and the UCI Road World Championships (2009).
