Maurice capped Arrowfield’s spectacular Saturday when his 3YO son Danon McKinley swept to victory in the Kyoto Swan S. 1400m G2.
Raced by Masahiro Noda’s Danox Co. Ltd, Danon McKinley also won the Chukyo Falcon S. G3 in March.
Bred by Northern Farm from the 2012 One Thousand Guineas G1 winner Homecoming Queen (by Holy Roman Emperor), Danon McKinley was a ¥242 million (~A$2.5 million) weanling purchase from Japan’s 2022 Select Sale for Masahiro Noda’s Danox Co. Ltd.
