Fourth winner for All American

Arrowfield’s promising young sire All American recorded his fourth winner when Lady Trickster scored by 2.5 lengths over 900 metres at Sandown on Wednesday.

It was the filly’s second start, after running third on debut to Golden Slipper runner Eloping in the $250,000 VOBIS Gold Rush at Bendigo last month.

Trained by Peter Morgan and Craig Widdison, Lady Trickster was retained to race by her Melbourne breeder Bruce Mathieson. She is the first runner for stakes-placed city winner Illusionist, a half-sister by Favorite Trick to stakeswinner Marwell Lady, from the family of recent stakeswinners Taxmeifyoucan and Loveyamadly.

Illusionist has a yearling filly by All American and is back in foal to the record-breaking Group 1 miler.

Lady Trickster joins American Time, and Sydney winners Invisible and Bachman to give the son of Red Ransom four winners. The Arrowfield-bred-&-sold Bachman is set to contest the ATC Schweppervescence S. G3 at Rosehill on Saturday.

All American has seven lots catalogued for the Inglis Easter Sale, including Lot 112, Arrowfield’s half-brother to Slipper runner Oakleigh Girl.
