The launch of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale catalogue is always greeted with special excitement because it marks a key turning-point in the Australian thoroughbred industry’s year.

As the 2019 breeding season winds down and the Spring Racing Carnivals conclude, the spotlight moves towards the first yearlings of 2020, with all the hopes and dreams they represent for vendors and buyers alike.

Big strong and great walking colt. First foal of a smart stakeswinner by the sire of the moment.

Lot 216, Mikki Isle – Dame Pattie colt
Very forward colt with a big hip and nice easy walk. Grandson of two champions, Deep Impact and Alinghi.    

Lot 385, Deep Impact – Honesty Prevails colt
Top-class colt with a big girth from one of the fastest fillies of her generation. A Deep Impact colt from the family of AP Indy, that’s sire potential!

Lot 458, Shalaa – Lady Moura filly
Beautiful filly with great strength and balance and a lovely temperament. Bred to be early and looks a Gimcrack filly.

Lot 566, Not A Single Doubt – Mount Zero filly
Big strong well-made athletic filly who oozes class and precocity.

Lot 579, Maurice – Networking filly
Lovely well-balanced attractive filly with a great shoulder by possibly Japan’s greatest from a half-sister to the brilliant Pakistan Star.

Lot 700, Snitzel – Rose of Cimmaron colt
Powerful colt in the mould of the best and most precocious Snitzels and a half-brother to two stallions.
