Trainer John O’Shea will now send the daughter of Snip Snip (by Snippets) for a break, so she can return in time for the early autumn feature races.

He said, “I think the Widden and Silver Slipper will be races where she will be very competitive. Depending on her performance, we will then give her one more run into the Golden Slipper.”

Raced by her breeder Ron Finemore in partnership with John Leaver, Don’t Blink is a half-sister to Maribyrnong Plate G3 winner Husson Lightning (Hussonet) and Sydney winner Not a Snip A Doubt (Not a Single Doubt).

Don’t Blink’s win followed a similar debut performance by No Looking Back (Redoute’s Choice – Mirror Mirror by Dehere) who will target the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (R) LR after an eye-catching victory over stablemate Blazing Snitzel (Snitzel) at Warwick Farm on 19 November.

Redoute’s Choice’s outstanding stud record includes seven 2YO Group 1 winners: Fashions Afield, Miss Finland, Musir, Nadeem, Samantha Miss, Stratum and Undoubtedly.
