Black type for Hussonet filly

Horses with names made up of wordsruntogether dominated today’s $175,000 Newcastle JC Spring S. 1600m G3 and Hussonet ‘s 3YO daughter Heartsareforlove was one of them. A two-time winner in Brisbane last season, she gained her first black type by running on well for third, 2.75 lengths from the winner Ilovethiscity, with Giresun between them.

Heartsareforlove (ex Happy Heart by Exit To Nowhere) was bred by Emily Krstina (Aust) Pty Ltd, and is raced by Patinack Farm which paid $130,000 the filly at the 2009 Melbourne Premier Sale. She is a half-sister to VRC Oaks G1 winner Arapaho Miss, from the the family of leading sires Tom Rolfe, Chieftain and Alzao. Another branch has produced Queensland Oaks G1 winner Vouvray.

Hussonet, whose 27 Group 1 winners include outstanding classic fillies Wild Spirit, Printemps and Desert Fight has three other 3yo fillies showing fine promise this Australian spring: Slow the Flow, Daughter O’Fortune and Highland Mary.
