Mikki Isle’s only filly at the Sale, out of multiple US Grade 1 winner Island Fashion (by Seeking the Gold’s son Petionville), was offered by Northern Farm and bought by Tsuyoshi Ono for ¥31 million ($375,000).

Arrowfield’s General Manager Paul Messara, who attended the Sale at Northern Horse Park, noted Shadai Farm’s “outstanding” colt from the Graded Stakes winner My Jen (by Fusaichi Pegasus), a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Caravaggio. The colt was bought for ¥22 million ($265,000) by Ryotokuji Kenji Holdings Co. Ltd.

Shadai Farm also presented the Mikki Isle-Royal Fantasy colt, knocked down to Harumichi Yanagi for $375,000. Royal Fantasy, by champion German sire Monsun, is a dual Group winner and was second in the Prix Vermeille G1.
