All American to stand in Western Australia

All American will stand in Western Australia this coming Spring, following his sale to Eddie Rigg’s Geisel Park Stud, about 150 km south of Perth.

The Group 1-winning son of Red Ransom joined the Arrowfield roster in 2010 and is currently fifth on the Australian 2YO Sires’ list with prizemoney of more than $900,000.

That’s largely thanks to the very talented Yankee Rose, two-time winner in Sydney and runner-up in last Saturday’s Golden Slipper G1, and Rampage, a winner at Moonee Valley and stakes-placed in Sydney.

All American has also been represented recently by Bachman, a Group winner in Sydney at two, who returned this season with a first-up win in Sydney followed by Listed Race success on the Gold Coast. Other city-winning progeny of All American this season include Tender, American Star,  All Eights and 2YO debut winner Yankee Express.

All American’s trainer David Hayes  looks back warmly on the horse who defeated champion So You Think in the 2009 VRC Emirates S. G1.

“All American had the physique of a three-year-old miler yet was one of my fastest and most precocious two-year-olds. He trained on to beat the world champion at four and he retired as sound as he raced. My vet never saw him and I wish I had another one like him.”

All American’s introductory service fee at Geisel Park has been set at $10,000 + GST, with 15 Earlybird nominations available at $7,000 +GST.
