New city 2YO winners for Not A Single Doubt

Not A Single Doubt has been busy again over the past 7 days, adding seven wins to his season record, including new 2YO city winners Affirmation in Adelaide on Saturday and Good Project in Sydney last Wednesday.

Lightly raced 4YO mare Pinky Tuscadero – named after Fonzie’s girlfriend in the 1970s TV series Happy Days – completed a city double for Not A Single Doubt at Morphettville.

A win at Muswellbrook by first starter Not One Doubt on Monday has taken Not A Single Doubt’s tally of Australian juvenile winners to 19, more than any other stallion in 2013/14.

Also on Saturday, at Caulfield, 2YO Berlutti and 3YO Word Of Mouth confirmed their promise with placings over 1100 and 2000 metres.

On Sunday at the Sunshine Coast the Steven O’Dea-trained 3YO filly Not A Singlemoment scored for the second time in four starts.

It’s typical of Not A Single Doubt that these seven performers are from mares by a diverse range of sires, with two exceptions. Good Project and Pinky Tuscadero are both out of mares by Group 1-winning sprinter Final Card, from the Star Kingdom sire-line.

The dams of the other five are by Grand Lodge (Danzig line), Octagonal (Sir Tristram), Success Express (Princequillo), Hennessy (Storm Cat) & Sea Road (Nijinsky II).

Not A Single Doubt has been represented worldwide by 16 stakes performers this season, seven of them stakeswinners headed by Group 2 winners Gypsy Diamond, Miracles Of Life & Villa Verde.
