New stars promote Teeley Dispersal

The best publicity in the bloodstock business happens on the track. It’s an often-repeated maxim that the Teeley Assets’ racing team has taken to heart.

No sooner was it announced in early February that the Teeley Dispersal would be included in the Magic Millions National Sale, than a new group of stars emerged from the Teeley stable.

The latest is 2YO filly Lucky Raquie (Encosta de Lago-Monsoon Wedding) who charged to victory in Sunday’s Canberra RC Black Opal S. LR.

She arrived in the wake of Australia’s new sprinting sensation Lankan Rupee (Redoute’s Choice-Estelle Collection) who began his quick march to Group 1 success with a Group 3 win at Caulfield on 8 February. On the same day Rubick (Encosta de Lago-Sliding Cube) won the MRC Blue Diamond Prelude G3.

Two weeks later Lankan Rupee won the MRC Oakleigh Plate G1 and last Saturday’s dominant VRC Newmarket H. G1
