Animal Kingdom ranked world's best entire

Five weeks after his dominant Dubai World Cup victory, Animal Kingdom (pictured) has been rated the world’s best entire.

The latest World Thoroughbred Rankings for the period 1 November 2012-28 April 2013 give the 5YO son of Leroisdesanimaux a rating of 126, alongside the 6YO gelding Game On Dude. Only the recently retired Australian superstar Black Caviar (130) and 6YO gelding Wise Dan (129) are rated above them.

The Breeders’ Cup Classic G1 winner Fort Larned and Japanese star Orfevre have been awarded a rating of 125.

Animal Kingdom is now in England preparing for a start at Royal Ascot next month and will join the Arrowfield stallion roster for the 2013 breeding season at a fee of $38,500 inc. GST.
