She is Arrowfield’s first foal by the high-class Group 1 2YO performer Beneteau , himself born at the Stud almost five years ago.

The filly’s dam is Overblik (Elvstroem-Survey by Geiger Counter), a winning relative of multiple Group winner Tickle My.

Both sire and dam were trained by Paul Messara, with Beneteau proving one of the best 2YO colts of his generation. He progressed rapidly from his sparkling debut victory at Randwick in January 2010, to Group 3 success at Caulfield before a splendid third behind Star Witness and Shaaheq in the MRC Blue Diamond S. G1.

Those performances earned Beneteau a Timeform rating of 121, and put him among the top three colts on the 2009/10 Australasian 2YO Classification.

From a stakes-placed, winning sister to champion filly Alinghi, Beneteau is perfectly poised to follow the flight path already taken by ten stakes-siring sons of Redoute’s Choice . They include his barn-mates Not A Single Doubt and Snitzel , with 9 stakeswinners apiece, among them last season’s Group 1-winning 2YO Sizzling.

Beneteau stands in 2012 at a fee of $11,000 inc. GST, and owners & breeders are warmly invited to inspect him at Arrowfield’s 2012 Stallion Open House, 23-26 August
