Raced by the Mummify Stable, the 2YO gelding came through on the rails to upstage more seasoned juvenile Kaiser by a head, with 1.5 lengths back to the third placegetter, Tsar.

Trainer Michael Freedman said, “It was a good tough effort for a two-year-old to beat a more experienced two-year-old like Kaiser…We’ll have to see how he pulls up. At this stage he’s 50/50 to head for the Juvenile Championship at the end of the month.”

Rush was bred by Arrowfield and Planette Thoroughbred Trading Pty Ltd, Rush was purchased for $75,000 from the Arrowfield draft at the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Charge Forward has been represented by three Australian stakeswinners this season: dual Group 1 winner Response, Shrapnel and Solar Charged, as well as the Group 1-placed New Zealand 2YO stakeswinner Fort Lincoln who heads a group of ten juvenile winners by Charge Forward in 2010/11.

Charge Forward’s 2011 service fee is $33,000 inc. GST.
