Ain'tnofallenstar impressive in Adelaide

Starcraft ‘s admirable 3YO daughter Ain’tnofallenstar scored her most impressive win yet when she swept from the back of the field to claim the $100,000 SAJC Laelia S. 1600m LR at Morphettville today.

It was the bay filly’s second stakes win and fourth victory overall in a 13-start career for her owners B.W. Wilson & Mrs C. E. Wilson and trainer Lee Freedman.

Ain’tnofallenstar was bought by Badgers Bloodstock for $270,000 from the Arrowfield Stud draft at the 2009 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. Her dam, the very good multiple stakeswinner Ain’t Seen Nothin’, has a weanling filly by Starcraft and is in foal to All American . Ain’t Seen Nothin”s first foal, Hidden Charges (by Charge Forward ) is a three-time winner from the John McArdle stable in Victoria.

The female family is a distinguished branch of the tribe descended from the great foundation broodmare Eulogy, and it is especially associated with leading New Zealand breeders, the late Jim and Veda Morris of Rodmor Stud. They bred Ain’tnofallenstar’s third dam Polar Maid (also the grand-dam of Golden Slipper G1 winner Polar Success), and her half-sister Olympic Aim (dam of AJC Oaks G1 winner and outstanding broodmare Circles of Gold).

Ain’tnofallenstar is one of seven stakeswinners this season by Starcraft, who is currently third on the Australian 2nd Season Sires’ list, behind Stratum and Snitzel .

Starcraft stands at a fee of $44,000 inc. GST in 2011.
